Best foot forward at Venice festival


August 19, 2008 The top talent at the Venice Film Festival had better watch where it steps this year, as a group plans to sell red carpet footprints of top stars there as a way to raise money for the restoration of St. Mark's Basilica in the city. Casts of the footprints will be sold on eBay, organizers of the initiative said, with proceeds funding the refurbishment of the famous 11th century cathedral.
