CBS announces fall premieres
June 26, 2008 CBS announced its fall launch dates, including an early premiere for the 17th edition of "Survivor" and late debut for "CSI" and other crime dramas. CBS' top-rated "CSI," the new Jerry Bruckheimer freshman drama "Eleventh Hour," new series "The Ex List" and returning dramas "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numbers" will all premiere later than usual to accommodate the presidential election debates. The first debate between John McCain and Barack Obama is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, with a second debate featuring the vice presidential candidates slated for Thursday, Oct. 2.
