Castify in the fold at Omneon

December 14, 2007 Omneon, a provider of media server and storage systems for the broadcast and digital content storage markets, acquired Castify Networks, which develops software for managing the distribution of digital content over the Internet and private Intranets. Said Omneon president/CEO Joe Kennedy: "As our customers move to file-based workflows, our strategy is to provide the digital content infrastructure they need to efficiently and cost-effectively manage their assets."
