Indie boxoffice down 12% in 2007


January 07, 2008 Boxoffice revenue for indies fell 12% to $1.16 billion in 2007 as the number of releases rose from 501 to 530. Only 16 films made more than $20 million (down from 20 in 2006), and two-thirds made less than $250,000.
