Celluloid Dreams looks to 'UBIK'
May 19, 2008 Celluloid Dreams has optioned big screen adaptation rights to Philip K. Dick's sci-fi novel "UBIK." Named one of the 100 greatest English-language novels by Time Magazine, UBIK is a metaphysical, comedic murder mystery set in an alternative futuristic universe where an explosion on the moon causes the characters to question reality. Dick has seen a number of his novels turned into major movies including "Blade Runner," "Total Recall," "Minority Report" and "A Scanner Darkly."
