Discovery taps James Hitchcock
April 16, 2008 Former MTV Networks executive James Hitchcock has been named marketing and branding officer at Discovery Channel. Hitchcock will lead and direct the network's branding and will be responsible for developing creative and media strategies, working closely across all departments to actively leverage advertising and promotional investments with digital, communications and commerce opportunities. Hitchcock most recently was senior vp marketing and creative at MTVN's cable network CMT.
