Remy Ma's sentencing postponed


April 22, 2008 The artist, whose real name is Remy Smith, was convicted March 27 of assault, weapons possession and attempted coercion for shooting Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the abdomen. However, Fisher was sure that the rapper will remain in custody until May 13, unlike rapper T.I., who was sentenced to complete 1000 of 1500 hours of community service before serving one year in prison for federal weapons charges.
