SAG, AMPTP to huddle separately
April 17, 2008 SAG and the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers will reconvene this morning in separate caucuses before entering the fourth day of talks in the afternoon, the two sides said Thursday. Few details of the talks between the actors union and the majors have come out since negotiations started Tuesday at the AMPTP's Sherman Oaks office. SAG has brought to the table a comprehensive package that includes increased residuals for DVD/home video and a bigger cut in new media.
