Uni Studios takes Sean Gamble as exec vp


January 06, 2009 Gamble will oversee the financial and operational performance of Universal's global film ops and report to president and COO Ron Meyer, who announced the appointment Tuesday, as well as NBC Universal executive vp and CFO Lynn Calpeter. Gamble replaces Christy Shibata, who has accepted a position as executive vp financial planning and analysis at NBC Uni. Gamble most recently was executive finance manager of GE Oil & Gas' equipment business in Florence, Italy.
