NBC drops YouTube for Hulu


October 23, 2007 NBC pulled its branded promotional channel from YouTube during the weekend in advance of the launch of Hulu, its joint online video venture with News Corp. An NBC spokeswoman confirmed Monday that promotional content supplied by the network would no longer be seen on Google's video site. Said YouTube spokesman Ricardo Reyes: "Our relationship with NBC was a YouTube success story, so we hope NBC decides to post more original content and stay engaged with our users."
