TCM has Room for oldies online

May 24, 2007 Dubbed the Media Room, the new video portal lives on the TCM.com site and launched with more than 3,000 pieces of shortform video content in the form of short films, movie clips, trailers and interstitials from TCM programming. While TCM's Media Room content will be updated daily and drawn from the cable network's television programming, it also will offer the ability for users to create playlists and search for content based on an actor, director or filmmaker. With its presence, it expands TCM.com's already existing interactive movie database, which features content related to more than 130,000 titles from the Turner Entertainment catalog as well as licensed content from American Film Institute's catalog of features, the Internet Movie Database and additional sources.
