'Chaser' cleans up at hometown PiFan


July 26, 2008 South Korean thriller “The Chaser” was the big winner at the 12th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan), which closed Friday night. Warner Bros bought the remake rights to “The Chaser” in March for approximately $1 million. [...] organizers said this was mostly due to the detachment of live concerts and the film screenings, which had been held in the same venues during earlier festivals.
