AOL TV launches Top 5 widget


March 25, 2008 AOL TV launched a widget on Monday for its daily "TV's Top 5" feature, allowing users to embed a clip on their personal Web pages with a link back to the portal. Tuesday's widget, a piece of media that can be embedded on Web pages outside of its original destination, featured a short clip of Britney Spears' guest appearance on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" on Monday night. The widget can be embedded on personal Web sites, blogs and social networking pages on News Corp.'s MySpace, Facebook and others.
