CW: Media won't get '90210' screeners

August 18, 2008 The network and studio issued a statement Monday saying they won't be sending out screeners before the highly buzzed-about show's Sept. 2 premiere. "The CW and our studio partner CBS Paramount Network Television have made the strategic marketing decision not to screen '90210' for any media in advance of its premiere," the statement said. The statement set the blog world into a frenzy of speculation about the quality of the show, a contemporary version of Fox's long-running "Beverly Hills, 90210."
