October 29, 2008 With a 40% tax credit in place since 1999, Puerto Rico has long had one of the country's largest film incentive programs. Filming activity has exploded from an anemic $6 million-$8 million a year to record levels. Recent feature productions visiting Puerto Rico include IFC Films' "Che" and MGM's "A Perfect Getaway," while "Men Who Stare at Goats," starring George Clooney, is set to shoot here.
