Jesse L. Martin heads back to Broadway
April 20, 2008 Martin is in negotiations to star in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," a new Broadway-aimed production based on the 1967 movie. A bevy of A-listers -- including Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton and Sigourney Weaver -- have been bandied about for the roles of the parents played in the film by Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. Martin, who rose to prominence with his role on the original Broadway production of "Rent," is repped by Endeavor and McGowan Management.
