Guess it was the World Series.

FX's "The League" (1.4 million, 0.9) climbed 40% after last week's middling debut against Fox's sports coverage.

Though once again trailing its "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (2 million, 1.3) lead-in, "The League" was the seventh highest-rated show on cable Thursday night.
