Hartz Mountain Gets $19M Refi for Secaucus Complex

Hartz Mountain Associates has secured a $19 million mortgage refinancing loan for a 197,400-square-foot office/warehouse property in Secaucus, N.J. James Gunning and Donna Falzarano of CB Richard Ellis Inc.’s capital markets debt & equity group secured the financing on behalf of Hartz Mountain, while a New England-based commercial bank funded the five-year fixed-rate loan. Originally built in 1973, the building has undergone significant upgrades and currently boasts features such as two video production studios, 18 loading docks and high-tech broadcasting satellites. Major League Baseball has a long-term lease and occupies 142,000 square feet of space, which consists of studio and production areas.
