Michigan Turns to CBRE for Real Estate Services
Jul 13, 2009

CB Richard Ellis Inc. has been selected by the State of Michigan as its real estate services provider. In this capacity, CBRE will conduct the State’s leasing services, lease administration, strategic planning, lease tracking and auditing, as well as marketing assistance along with acquisition and disposition services across a portfolio measuring more than 14 million square feet of state-leased and –owned property. CBRE currently has three offices in Michigan, which the company said was an integral part of the State’s decision. The CBRE team that will lead the Michigan account is comprised of seven professionals located across the firm’s offices in the cities of Lansing, Grand Rapids and Detroit. The team will also collaborate with Michael McShea of CBRE’s Washington, D.C.-based public institutions and education solutions group, which provides real estate services to states, counties, cities and educational institutions
