The Alter Group has announced plans to acquire King Mill, a 180-acre site in Henry County, Ga., south of Atlanta, where it will develop a two-phase industrial park. King Mill can support up to 3 million square feet of build-to-suit industrial space. The buildings are already designed by architects MacGregor & Associates; Hayes, James & Associates is the civil engineer. Alter is in the process of finalizing entitlements for the project. Alter said it envisions developing the site in two phases, each comprising 90 acres, and doesn’t anticipate constructing speculative space in the foreseeable future due to the current state of the economy.
