AMB Sews Up $125M LAX Parcel Sale
Jul 29, 2009

AMB Property Corp. has completed the $125 million sale of a land parcel at Los Angeles International Airport to Los Angeles World Airports, the owner of LAX. The 21-acre parcel, known as Park One, is comprised of the only privately-owned parking lot adjoining the airport’s terminals, and is sited adjacent to Terminal 1. AMB acquired the property in 2002.

"Park One has been the only remaining parcel of real estate not yet owned by [Los Angeles World Airports] that is immediately adjacent to LAX and not separated by a major thoroughfare. Acquiring this property provides us with a strategic and rare opportunity," said Gina Marie Lindsey, executive director of Los Angeles World Airports.
