Baskin-Robbins said today that Carlos Nuñez, director of marketing
for the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and consumer insights,
will add Hispanic duties to his role, part of a plan to step up the
ice cream shop's marketing efforts aimed at Latinos.
Nuñez will be responsible for developing all Hispanic marketing
initiatives, reporting to Scott Colwell, brand-marketing officer
for Baskin-Robbins Worldwide, per a statement.
Nuñez joined Baskin-Robbins in January 2008, bringing 27 years of
marketing in consumer goods. He spent 17 of those years in the QSR
industry, including Burger King as director of marketing for Latin
America/Caribbean, The Holland Inc./Burgerville, Yum Brands/Tricon
Global Restaurants, Pepsi Co, among others.
