Sony BMG Nashville senior director of A&R administration Alison Booth rises to the newly created position of VP for the department. She reports to Kathy Woods, senior VP of legal and business affairs for Sony BMG Nashville.
Her responsibilities include supervising A&R administration and pre-production for the four labels that make up Sony BMG Nashville: Arista Nashville, BNA Records, Columbia Nashville and RCA Records Nashville.
“I am especially grateful for my experiences with the strong leadership at Sony BMG Nashville, and the open-minded attitude that encourages strategic and long-term thinking," Booth said in a prepared statement. “As a result, and with a top-notch staff, my position continues to remain challenging and endlessly fascinating.”
Prior to joining RCA Records in 1989, Booth held positions at MTM Music Group, SESAC and Gelfand, Rennert and Feldman, CPAs.
