ASCAP Ups Grimmett

Randall Grimmett has been promoted to the position of senior VP of domestic membership of the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP).
Grimmett, who is based in Los Angeles, will directly report to executive VP of membership Todd Brabec. His duties will include overseeing membership activities in pop/rock, urban, Latin and film/TV.
Previously, Grimmett was senior VP of membership business affairs and has been with ASCAP since 1994. Before joining ASCAP he worked in private legal practice. He also has been an adjunct professor at Cal Poly-Pomona for the past six years and serves on the National Board of the Association of Independent Music Publishers.
