Former Univision VP Launches Entertainment Co.

Former Univision Publishing VP of administration Nestor Rodriguez has formed a new company, Nestor Rodriguez Entertainment.
Based in Los Angeles, the newly-formed company will encompass publishing administration, publishing consulting, singer-songwriter management, production and digital distribution.
One of Rodriguez' first catalog administration agreements is with Del Rio Music Group, which represents songwriters such as Gustavo Morales and Myrna del Rio. Rodriguez is also managing singer-songwriters Alejandro Bassi, Maximino Chavez and Salvador Garza.
Rodriguez was one of more than 20 Univision Music Group employees who lost their jobs last month in the wake of the takeover by Universal Music Group.
